2019 ACA Annual Meeting Registration Information


Onsite Registration Information

The ACA Registration Desk will be open at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center as follows:

Friday 7/19 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM EST
Saturday 7/20 from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM EST
Sunday 7/21 from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Monday, 7/22 from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Tuesday, 7/23 from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Wednesday, 7/24 from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM EST

Who Needs to Register?

Everyone must submit a registration form (including invited speakers) with the appropriate fee. Exhibitors who present a talk or poster must also register as a meeting participant. Registered participants will receive conference materials and a name badge securing admission to the Opening Reception, Exhibit Show and Scientific Sessions.  

 


What's included in my registration fee?

  • Access to all scientific sessions
  • Access to commercial exhibition
  • Access to poster exhibition
  • Coffee breaks from Saturday - Tuesday
  • Opening Ceremony and Reception on Saturday, July 20th
  • Awards Banquet on Wednesday, July 24th
  • Full conference material including name badge and final program
A new procedure will be utilized this year at the registration desk.  In order to avoid long lines and wait time each attendee will receive a badge packet with the following:
    • Badge
    • Lanyard
    • Program Book
    • Attendee Ribbons: if you are missing a ribbon or have received one in error simply notify the desk staff and they will issue you the correct ribbon.  
    • FOUR Drink Tickets: These tickets will be good for drinks at the Opening Reception as well as the three poster sessions.  Please keep these tickets in a safe place, lost or stolen drink tickets will not be replaced.  
    • TWO Drink Tickets will be issued to each registered attendee at the door of the YSIG event.  
    • TWO Drink Tickets will be issued as registered attendees board the Belle of Cincinnati for the closing banquet.  

Receipts

Please note that we will not be issuing receipts at the registration desk or in the registration packet.  The new member management and registration program allows for all attendees to log into their account and print out any invoices associated with their membership or attendance.  If you need instructions on how to access this information stop by the registration desk or download the instructions.  

 


Food & Beverages

The ACA provides a number of events with food and beverage options to our attendees.  We welcome you to join us!  
Coffee Breaks are provided at 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM each day in the exhibit hall.  
Opening Reception & Poster Sessions: Coffee and a non-alcoholic option will be available at the Opening Reception and poster sessions.  Each attendee will be issued FOUR drink tickets good for any night during the duration of the meeting.  Cash bars will also be available at each event.  
YSIG Mixer: Each attendee will be issued TWO drink tickets, good for the YSIG event only, at the door of the event.  A cash bar will also be available.  
Closing Banquet: Each attendee will be issued TWO drink tickets, good for the YSIG event only, at the door of the event.  A cash bar will also be available.  
 

Check Issuing & Cashing 

Travel grants for students and young scientists to offset costs associated with attending to the 2019 ACA meeting can be found on the Travel Grant page.  Please note that any and all funds issued in connection with travel grants will be issued via check.  The ACA cannot cash any check and no wire transfer requests will be granted.  It is suggested that if you need to cash a check on-site and do not have a local bank account, or are traveling internationally, that you research the available check cashing options.

Participants with special needs arising from disabilities or particular dietary requirements are invited to contact the Registration Office to discuss appropriate accommodations.
 
 

Photo Release

ACA will take photographs and video at the meeting. By registering for the meeting and its associated events, you agree to allow ACA to use your photo and/or video footage of you in our publications, materials, websites, or promotions.
