Three Minute Thesis [Ballroom B (BRB) & Ballroom C (BRC)]

WHERE: NKCC Ballroom B & Ballroom C

In 2018 the Young Scientific Interest Group held a Three Minute Thesis contest.  The session was amazing with the winner, Andreea Gheorghita, giving her winning Three Minute Thesis at the closing banquet.  This year the YSIG is bringing this popular contest to Kentucky.  While the audience is composed of crystallographers and scientists, they may or may not have a specific background in a presented topic.  The goal of the contestants is to engage the audience with their research in just 180 seconds.  This session is fully populated by abstracts for posters at the meeting. Authors will present a 3-minute thesis talk, but will additionally present their poster during the regular poster schedule.
